Seven swimmers from Killerwhales travelled to the City of Norwich on the 25th to the 27th March to compete in the Level 1 Easter Long Course Meet.

Noah Jameson-Neal had a terrific three days of competition. Noah won gold in the 200m Butterfly while also achieving a new club record with a time of 2:47.74, this was followed with another gold in the 1500m Freestyle and yet another club record with a time of 20:02.19. Noah didn’t stop there, he took home silver in the 400m IM in 5:56.03 and Bronze in the 100m Butterfly in 1:19.15, well done Noah. 

Poppy Holmes competed in four events across the weekend while picking up two personal best times. Poppy swam a PB in the 50m Butterfly in 39.13 and in the 100m Backstroke with a time of 1:27.85.  Jade Braybrooke competed in nine events across the three days, Jade achieved three PB’s in the 50m Butterfly with a time of 35.74, in the 50m Backstroke in 35.52 and in the 200m IM in 2:47.98. 

Harry Spencer swam a PB in the 400m Freestyle in a time of 4:38.57 and swam a good time of 18:11.58 in the tough 1500m Freestyle event. Lisa Murphy competed in seven events, Lisa achieved two personal best times with a time of 29.29 in the 50m Freestyle and 1:14.70 in the 100m Backstroke event. Lucie Davis also picked up two personal best times across the three days, Lucie finished with a time of 1:15.57 in the 100m Backstroke and 2:44.05 in the 200m IM. Tilly Pearson competed in four events, Tilly’s best placed finishes came in the 50m Breaststroke in 37.22 and in the 200m Breaststroke in 2:52.83.
