Structure

Like most swim clubs, Killerwhales is run by a voluntary Committee. The Committee is led by a Club Executive comprised of Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary. Further Committee Members are usually parents of swimmers or ex-swimmers who bring with them a wealth of experience from their varied professional backgrounds.

 

Meetings

The Club Committee usually meets monthly and an Annual General Meeting is held in May or June to which all parents are invited.

CHAIRPERSON

The chair's primary role is to ensure that the board is effective in its task of setting and implementing the company's direction and strategy.

Every other year the club are required to submit and provide swim England’s governing body relevant documentations to ensure the club gets its accreditation. If you are interested in this position please contact the Club Secretary.

This position is still vacant, however during 2019 we have had several parents that have taken a keen interest in helping and overseeing several fundraising events and we would welcome as much help as possible.
