Sadly the Sprint to Christmas Gala was cancelled due to glass in the pool from an exploded light fitting. It could not be guaranteed that there was not a danger to swimmers - so cancelled. There are plans to reschedule the gala, but this may not offer opportunity for those close to Essex times as the qualifying period ends this Friday. It may be possible to swim a time trial at Romford towns gala this afternoon in Stratford but no guarantee to be accepted. Swimmers will be required to sign up before the afternoon warm up and races are listed in the picture attached to this post. The club are looking into a plea of exceptional circumstances to Essex County and we will update you with any further information.
