Kai Bradford represents Great Britain at World Para Swimming European Championship Kocaeli 2026

Killerwhales Swim Club is incredibly proud of Kai Bradford, who represented Great Britain

for the first time at the World Para-Swimming European Championships in Kocaeli 2026.

This is a remarkable achievement for Kai, who, at just 17 years old, competed on the

international stage against some of the best senior men in Europe.

Kai’s first event was the 50m freestyle, where he produced an excellent performance,

setting a new personal best and finished in 7 th place. He followed this with a strong swim in

the 100m freestyle, finishing 10th. Kai then produced a fantastic performance in his favourite event, the 100m breaststroke, finishing in 4 th place and narrowly missing out on a bronze medal. His championships concluded with a 10 th place finish in the 100m backstroke, bringing an end to an incredible experience competing for Great Britain.

Everyone at Killerwhales Swim Club is incredibly proud of Kai and all that he has achieved.

His performances are a testament to his hard work, dedication and determination, and we

hope this will be the first of many international appearances for this talented young

swimmer.
