Killerwhales shine at Basildon 1500 Meet

The Killerwhales made the short trip to Basildon with a compact team of 11 swimmers, where the team delivered outstanding performances.
In the boys’ 11-year age group, Mohammed A claimed a gold medal in his first-ever 1500m event—a fantastic achievement!
The girls’ 11-Year Age Group showcased incredible depth, with Emily M (pictured) taking gold, while Freya B and Ellie R finished 4th and 5th, respectively, both setting personal bests.
Sean M in the boys’ 12-year age group earned silver, with Kevin B coming in 5th. Alanna H, competing in the girls' 13-year age group, stormed to gold with an impressive personal best. In the boys’ 13-year age group, Jack P secured silver, also setting a personal best.
The boys’ 14-year age group saw Toby K placed 5th, Orly M finished 8th with a huge personal best, and Kavith T came in 9th.
The 1500m is a tough event, demanding both physical and mental endurance. Every swimmer gave it their all, and we couldn't be prouder of these gritty performances.
